New research in the US has shown that squirting an inexpensive saline solution into your nostrils twice a day is just as effective a remedy as any of the different commercial medications on the market at the moment. Experiments suggest that a saline placebo is just as good as these drugs with most of the patients showing improvements over time whether they used drugs designed specifically to treat nosebleeds or a simple saline spray.
