A plastic surgery addict was left with a permanent and painful erection after a nose job went horribly wrong.

Reality TV star and stylist Neven Ciganovic flew to Iran to undergo rhinoplasty to fix his crooked nose.  But when doctors put him under, Neven experienced a bizarre reaction to the general anaesthetic.

However, the 45-year-old told Metro UK doctors were well into the surgery before they realised something was wrong.

They diagnosed him with priapism – an unwanted, long-lasting and painful erection.

If left untreated for 24 hours, the penis can be permanently damaged, even leading to erectile dysfunction in some cases.

Neven recovered in a hospital in Serbian capital Belgrade. According to Daily Mail, he had to have another surgery to correct the priapism and he will not be back to normal for several months.

Neven, who has gone under the knife more than a dozen times, is considering more operations regardless of his botched surgery, The Sun reports. Apparently, the surgery junkie hopes to nip and tuck his way to international stardom.

"Channel 4 dedicated a whole episode about me. I think this is a big deal and I hope this is the start of my international career," he said.
