Wisdom teeth removal

Hi, im getting my wisdom teeth removed on monday and am going on holiday shortly after, i would like to know if there is anything that i can take that would prevent the swelling and bruising afterwards?

ask the dentist for a prescription of antibiotics and painkillers.follow instructions given.a mouthwash might help as well.the bottom line is that swelling and bruising are complications associated with wisdom teeth extractions.the more difficult they are,the worse the complications are. so you will need to be prepared.good luck
