Whitening.

Hi Doc, i was wondering if you could give me more infor about teeth whitening, like what procedures there are and do medical aids pay for them? Thanks doc.

Whitening at a dentist is usually of 2 types- in office belaching - where a light activates the whitening product applied to your teeth- done in about an hour.
Another option is home bleaching whereby the whitening gel is placed in custom designed trays and used by the patient at night. this is done over 10 days.
