Q.

tooth extraction

3 of my teeth at the top back have always given me great problems. Its actually the middle one which does it. Food gets stuck inbetween all the time and I dig and floss to get it out as its very painful. Every time over the years that I have been to a dentist they always just fill the tooth - but after this things get stuck even more and its more difficult to get out. I try not to use that side as much as possible. Anyway I've decided that I just want to have the damn thing taken out and finish - would'nt this just be the best option. I also have an absolute phobia about having bad breath and I take my toothbrush and paste everywhere and I am ALWAYS sucking clorets or chewing clorets - Really its a phobia - I get so embarrassed if I'm in close proximity to a person and am always looking for body language by people if we're talking if you see what I mean. I Just CANNOT ask anyone if my breath actually does smell so this is not an option. What can a person do about this

you could have the offending tooth extracted as a last resort. it is difficult to advise you without having examined you.

See our oral health section on bad breath
