Hi Doc

I went for a check up and the dentisit found a whole- x ray- in my top jaw right tooth. It was in the side of the tooth inside. The tooth wasn't sore prior to seeing him, although my right side of my face was swollen 2 days prior to seeing him.

Now however its been two weeks since he fixed the whole and my tooth are sensitive and hurts at times. My right cheek are aslo still stligtly swollen. And I am getting headaches on the right side of my face. Since I rarely get heacaches I assusme it's from the tooth?Should I wait a while or see my dentis again. It cost me a fortune and don't have that kind of money again?

Thanks

I would see your dentist immediatly as you probably have an abscess. Did you tell him that it was swollen before seeing him? If you had an abscess, an "ordinary" filling will not solve the problem, only a root canal or an extraction would be the treatment of choice.
