Q.

sore tooth

Hi Docter. I went to the dentist in March and they replaced one of my silver fillings with a new white one (nothing wrong with old one). Since then every time I bight on it it is sore and it took my mouth about 2mnths to get use to the filling. I went back about a week ago and they did the filling over. But now it is even worse. FOr every time I have somthing cold it is sore. COuld you perhaps tell me what I should do or should I go back once again. Thank yoy

Hello,

The fact that you feeling cold sensitivity tells us that there probably is a "leak" in the filling or that the surface under the filling has not been sealed adequately. Seek a second opinion. An x-ray would also be useful to examine the area under the filling.
