Q.

Set of new teeth wanted

Hi.

I used to have lovely staight and healthy teeth till the age of 24. For the past 5 years my teeth has moved from being good to the xtreme opposite. I now had 5 teeth removed and have another 3 that will have to be removed soon.

I am now fed-up! My smile has now gone from something almost attractive to absolute horror.

I am now to the point where I would like to have all my teeth removed and replaced somehow. I am however very skeptical about dentures and would like to know if there is any other procedure that would you would suggest. I am on medical aid, but as I believe this to be some sort of cosmetic procedure, I very much doubt if this will be covered.

I therefore require something rather cost effective (Say ± R25000)

Any Advice?

Kind regards

Jacques

From personal experience, keep your teeth as long as you can! I have only 9 of my own teeth and have to wear a denture, which is very difficult to get used to. You can have bridges done, with caps to cover the bad teeth and the bridges to fill the gaps. Bridges are still cheaper then implants. Good luck!
