Q.

red line

I have a red line on my gums. the top teeth and bottom.
it is a thick red line from halfway up of my teeth-gum and down.
i have flushed my mouth with anti bacterial mouth wash for about 3 weeks and it's still the same. and the last week my tongue is dry at the back.my mouth doesn't really smell or anything like that.but my back teeth are getting sore now.what is it and what must i do?

it is important to determine the cause of the redness. Usually this is just a result of calculus (tartar) under the gum line. However there are other causes as well (infection,inflammation). See your dentist to get the correct treatment
