receeding gums and gingivitus

I am 37 and my teeth are starting to worry me.
I have receding gums and gingivitas. I went to the hygenist twice last year adn am now using a pink mouthwash twice a day (in a green/white box). The gum between my two front teeth is very sensitvie - there is a small gap.
I am fastiduous about cleaning, flossing etc. And don't knwo what else (besides stressing!) to do about my teeth.
suggestions please.

thank you

Correct brushing and flossing and regular visits to the dentists are a good way to keepyour teeth in good health. A healthy diet is essential as well. If you suffer fomr gum disease (periodontal disease) as a result of diabetes of some other chronic condtion this could cause sensitivty in the gums. Have x-rays taken to determine if you have developed periodontal disease
