Q.

permanent teeth cutting

Hallo!
My son (nearly 6) lost his first tooth in September and the one next to that lost one is loose already. I can see the permanent tooth cuttung through already. Is that actually sore for the little one?! I can't remember... ;-)
On our last visit to the dentist he took computer x-rays, because my son fell and he wanted to make sure, that the tooth (the root) is still intact. He then said, that he can see his permanent teeth already and that they are very big - whatever that means. Should I go to the dentist again and let him have a look, if the teeth have got enough space?
Thank you in advance!

No, it's not painful when the permanent teeth erupt. It's not necessary to take him for another visit if the dentist has seen him Last month.
