Q.

Pain in the back of my mouth

I have a pain in my gum at the back of the left side of my mouth. It feels hard and it looks like a white ball trying to break through my gum. Could it be another tooth trying to grow behind my wisdom tooth? I am 21 yrs old and shouldn't be growing more teeth. Though when I had a dentist check up afew years ago I was told that I still have my baby eye teeth and the my adult eye teeth are still in my gums, but are in a horizontal position.

I need to know what the procedure is to correct this problem and if it will mean that I have to wear braces or something.

Eagerly await your reply.

it may b your wisdom totth trying to push through. it may be impacted in the bone. you will need an xray to confirm this and if necessary it will need to be removed.
if its not the wisdom tooth, it could be an infection .see your dentist
