Q.

lower teeth gaps 2mm+

My fiancee has a beautiful personality and I love him a lot. Apparently, his parents didn't give much attention to oral care. As a teenager, he had two permanent teeth extracted, one upper and one lower jaw, instead of having them filled. It doesn't bother him at all. The teeth in his lower jaw are small compared to the upper jaw, and has gaps of between 1.5 and 2mm between them. He has a high profile job, and I would love him to have this corrected.
Whenever he laughs, he looks like a pirate. Where do I start with this sensitive problem?

He is otherwise well-groomed, charming and good looking.
Can the gaps between the lower teeth be filled with something and how- so that it doesn't look artificial?

You have a few options:
the gaps can be closed by using brace (orthodontics); bridging the gap by inserting crowns or caps, placing false teeth.
you first need to see a dentist to discuss which option will work bst for him- this will depend on various factors- type of bite, opposing teeth, general oral hleath.
good luck
