locked jaws

i have a problem with lock jaws specially when i wake up in the morning i have been to doctor cant pin point refered to the dentist did some x rays couldnt find anything gave some plastic gums to put at night but also didnt help,i dont know whether its my borns cos even my knee get locked ive got to be careful all the time pls help
