Q.

Impacted tooth

What problems can an impacted tooth cause?? I have an impacted tooth but too scared to have it removed. What are the major implications if i don't have it removed. Apparently its on a nerve, if i do decide to have it removed how long does the surgery take and how long is recovery???

impacted teeth can cause severe pain, infection and discomfort. They can also cause adjacent teeth to decay if they cause food entrapment. surgery can take anything from 30minutes upwards. Recovery is between 3-10 days
