Q.

How long should children brush for with an electric toothbrush?

I’ve purchased kiddies electric toothbrushes for my children (2yrs & 8yrs) in an effort to make brushing their teeth more ‘fun’ and ultimately more effective.
How long should they brush for? I believe that a quick whiz with the electric toothbrush is more valuable than the same time with an ordinary toothbrush.

hello,

About 2 minutes brushing time is recommended.

I have a daughter of three. I am lucky if I can brush her teeth (electric) for max 1 minute.

Really cannot keep her still any longer.
