Q.

gum disease/smoking

I recently had to visit the dentist due to pain and swelling at the front of mouth. He said was gum disease. gave antibiotics and he did a cleaning. i know brush after eating also using Corsodyl twice daily. I used to smoke prior to this heavily. I now smoke 1 cig in the morning and 1 in the evening. I want 2 give up completely and instages. how will this affect my teeth.? Also need details of an oral hygienist in the Durban area.
