Q.

gum by crown still inflamed

My gym by one of my crowns is still inflamed and bit red after visiting the periodontist about 2 weeks ago. He suggested I try putting cordosyl mouthwaste on floss brushes between the teeth where the gum is inflamed but this has not worked too well. He said he may have to cut the gum back at bit as it is too close to the crown which may be causing the problem. Can this procedure be done by the periodontis and is it expensive? Also, how long does it take to recover from this gum procedure?

the procedure can be done by a periodontist, I am uncertain of the costs involved.
healing will usually be around 2 weeks
