Q.

Gold

My sister went to the dentist to put gold on her teeth, on the 28th of may the dentist cut the tooth to send it to the lab for gold measurements, it is almost a week now the tooth has been cut and the dentist keeps on saying the are still waiting for the lab to give them the gold. My sister says the tooth pains when it gets air, when she is brushing her teeth and when she is eating. I am concerned abt infection being picked up thru that tooth as most of the enamel has been removed, can that be the case? How long do u have to wait once ur tooth has been cut?

It is unlikley to cause an infection. It can take at least 7-10 days to have the gold made
