Q.

Excessive cavitation

Hi i am not sure how to go about this-but i have so many caries despite brushing, flossing and seeing a dentist regularly! everytime i go i seem to have a newcavity. i am 25 and already have had 2 root canals! could the problem possibly be related to the pH of my saliva? where can i have this investigated in cape town?

the ph is unlikely to cause the problem. are your brushing and flossing methods correct-many times patients brush and floss more than often but the way they do it is incorrect. this can lead to decay. discuss this with your dentist first. also discuss your dietary habits with him
