Q.

does the tongue push the teeth forward?

Hi i have noticed my lower front teeth tilt out slightly, is this caused by the pressure of my tongue and should I be concerned? I am 33 and otherwise have beautiful teeth, even dentists tell me so. They have never mentioned my lower teeth to me I am the one who noticed it recently. I try to remember to hold my tongue back but it naturally rests against my lower jaw. Should I be concerned that it will be much worse 10, 20 years from now?

tnx

tongue pressure can push teeth forward however at 33 i wouldn't worry too much about it. It is unlikley to move much now considering you have a healthy dentition
