Q.

Crowns Damaged

Just a brief question: I have chipped the second of two porcelain crowns. The first sheared in half. I am not particularly hard on my teeth - is this something that happens often? I had thought that porcelain was tough!

Mike it is a rare occurance but does happen. It is usually due to some traume or abnormal bite, it should not hjappen with noraml biting chewing etc.
