Q.

Cost of dental treatment

Dear Doctor,

Due to a lack of finance and bad dental care and a as a teenager, I have only seventeen teeth left in my mouth. I am now 29 years of age. My upper teeth are crooked and need to be straightened. I am afraid of visiting a specialist as I am too afraid of what the cost would be to fix my teeth. Are there any governmental or subsidised cilinics in Johannesburg that can I can go to for treatment as I don't think that I can afford private treatment?

Desperate, please help?
