breath problem, biting inside cheeks

I have two problems which I hope you can help me with.
The first one is I have a problem with biting the inside of my cheeks and I can' t seem to stop it. I have this problem for a very long time, since I was a teenager. Now I' m 34 years and still doing it. When I was a teenager I used to bite the inside of my cheeks untill they bleed and then suck the blood. Now they don' t bleed if I bite. Somtimes I' m not even aware that I' m doing it. I don' t know if this is the cause of my second problem. that is that I have bad breath. I cannot smell it, but I notice that when I' m talking to people they always stand from a distance or tilt their head back.
It would help very much if I could get some advice for these problems.

Thank you,

see a dentist to see if your bite is incorrect- if so, this may solve the problem ofyour cheek biting.
see our oral health section on bad breath for your second problem
