Hi and thanks for the forum

I want to get braces my teeth are very scew. However, I need them to be in the back of my teeth not in front. Is this possible? My previous dentist told me my wisdom tooth needs to be extracted first before they can do braces - but in front of the teeth only.

I need your opinion on this as there may be newer procedures or things to do - I' m not a dentist :-P

Yes - Lingual orthodontics (braces on the inside)are very common nowadays. Before extracting the wisdom teeth, my advice is to first consult with an orthodontist- the wisdom teeth are sometimes extractd after the initial stages of the orthodontic treamtent.
