Q.

bleeding and bleeding

Hi Doc

The colour of my gums is not red as other people bt blackish in a way.My gums bleeds when I brush them. I do change my theeth brush every 3months. I've been having this problem every since I can remember. Sometimes it disappears bt come back again. I dont like the way my breath smells like. I've ask people if my breath does smell bt they said no, its fine bt I disagree.
I had another thooth which grew last year infront of the other teeth, which bleeds even if I'm not brushing.
This always scares me when I have to kiss someone bcoz of the transmition of HIV.
What causes this and how can I treat it, coz its a treat to my life

The bleeding is almost always due to an accumulation of plaque. When was the last time that you visited your dentist for a cleaning? It is important to have your teeth cleaned regularly as brushing alone is not enough.
The bad breath is also possibly due to the plaque.
Arrange a visit to your dentist, the problem does not sound too serious.
Good luck
