Q.

Alternatives to dentures

What is "permanent dentures"? I currently have dentures (top and bottom), but it can be removed. The way I understand it is that if I want to get rid of my dentures, I must have a complete set of implants (which is very very expensive). Is the "permanent dentures" an alternative to implants? What other alternatives are there if I want to get rid of the dentures?

IF you have no teeth in your mouth then besides the dentures you currently have, implants are the only option. You could have a few implants placed over which the denture can be attached. or you could could have a complete set of implants without a denture.
