Q.

2yr old fell now teeth

Morning

I wonder if you can help me please. My 2 yr old daughter fell and hurt herself on Sunday. She fell from her motor bike on her chin. For the past few days she battles to bite things off, but chews if I put food into her mouth.

I noticed that one of her teeth are a bit loose. Do I just leave it or what do you suggest I do. I can't bare to hear her cry again, Sunday was enough cause she got 3 stitches under her chin, now to take her to a dentist will be a bit too much.

It does'nt seem to hurt much because she allows me to fiddle in her mouth, but I do it gently.

Please any advise.

Thank you

Sammy,

You need to to take her to a dentist IMMEDIATELY. I am sure you will agree that a little bit of crying that she has to endure will be worth it if future problems related to the trauma can be avoided by visiting the dentist.
It is important to remember to see the dentists ASAP after any trauma to the mouth/teeth/jaw.
