Q.

You are concerned

Dear doc

Just wanted you to know that the best possible words a docter can use is that they too are concerned about a child's medical issue. You often use it in your replies - obviously for more serious things. But when your child is sick and you are worried out your mind, knowing that your doctor shares your concern, even if it is not serious and easliy remedied, makes all the difference. Your concerns validate our feelings and makes us more likely to trust and follow the advise and also helps us feel like we are not just being neurotic. Thank you for that - I wish more paed's knew that.

Warm wishes.
Belinda
