Walking rings are not popular with paediatricians. Thre is no need for them and accidents are all too frequent. Plain yoghurt is safe. In many countries very young infants are fed on yoghurt.

I gave my son yoghurt from about 6 months of age. Just check for any 'reactions'.

I only bought my Son a walking ring when he got frustrated because he couldn't 'get mobile'. It certainly made him a lot happier. I think when they are able to at least sit properly & stand holding onto a piece of furniture then it's fine.
