Hi All
i have a 13 month old boy.he has been having wind problems since he was born. i was told it will go away after at least 6 months but he is still having problems.he is now on S26 stage 3 and he wakes up twice for his bottle during the night. we feed him Nestum, Purity and an afternoon snack of yoghurt. he' ll be fine during the day but during his sleep he tosses and turns, his stomach makes a grrr sound,he farts and burbs.he cries and i can tell that it is painful, he even sleeps on his knees with his bum in the air and his stomach gets hard.we wake up every night to give him gripe water and it doesn' t help sometimes.what could be wrong?

Your son seems to have a lactose intolerance problem. Remove all dairy from his diet especially the yoghurt and the S26 3 and give him a soya formula such as Isomil 2 until he is 15 months and then change to regular soya milk in cartons.Let me know if he still has problems.
