Q.

which milk???

My 20 month baby was extremely constipated when she was on S26 gold. After a bout of bnacteria induced gastroenteritis in August 2006.She has since been on Nan 3-probiotic. I attempted to put her on the full cream boxed milk but with no success. I have now put her back on to the Nan probiotic. Which milk do i now put her on ????????????

It seems that many infants become constipated when on S26 Gold.Your little girl is really ready to have regular cow's milk at this stage. Have you tried her on small amounts of milk in rooibos tea and on her cereal? It is not essential for her to drink large amounts of milk as she is now on a full mixed diet.Another alternative is to use soya milk which is now readily available in supermarkets. It may be that she has some degree of lactose intolerance as a consequence of her severe episode of gastroenteritis earlier.
