Which Formula for baby with cow''s milk allergy?

I wrote in recently about my baby who had an allergic reaction to Nan HA. We have a history of asthma and eczema in the family. It was suggested that I use Similac Alimentum for the feeds that I will miss while at work.

He is now showing increased sensitivity to any dairy that I introduce to my diet - restlessness, winds, cramps, etc. I have stopped consuming these products.

Unfortunately, none of the shops in East London stock the Similac Alimentum and none are eager to order it in for me. Would you advise that I try a soya based product? I was thinking of trying Isomil. I know that there is a possibility that he may have a reaction to this.

You can certainly try Isomil soya formula. It will be much easier to obtain. You are correct, about 30% of cow's milk allergic infants also become allergic to soya formulas. In spite of this Isomil would be the best option for your baby.
