Q.

when to wean him

I have a 19 months baby boy and he is still breast fed but also eating little on porridge and formula.His weight is 10kg.I took him to the clinic and the nurse said he must be weaned and gave him nutritious porridge.I am worried about what to add on his diet.Please give some advice

Your child is well over the age when he should have started on solids.His weight is well below the expected weight for his age which is close to 12 kg.You can certainly give him the porridge, but he can really have a wide variety of foods now and if you stop breast feeding he can go directly onto fullcream milk.
