Q.

When to change child's formula

Hi Paed,

I just want to find out as to how safe is it for me to offer my 10month son NIDO 1.He is currently on lactogen 2 and her Paed recommended that i change him to S26.

Please anybody somebody help.

He is too young to change to Nido. Use the Lactogen 2 until 1 year then change to Nido.

Only change to Nido when your son has turned 1. S26 is very good. My daughter was on it until she turned one, then we swopped to Nido, which she loves. Not as "rich/thick" as S26, more like cows milk.
