Q.

When do u start giving yr baby water?

My babygirl is now 6 weeks old. Her formula feedings and stools are normal and she sleep well, but I think she gets thirsty (during the day) when its really warm. How much should I give her per day if I do start giving her water.

At her age she only needs her formula. Many mothers do give extra water to their babies, but in fact babies get sufficient fluid from their formula very day. The usual advice is to only start giving extra water once your baby is taking solid foods.
