Baby has a wheezy chest. If i change him from Lactogen No 2 and put him on SMA would that help a bit. He doesn't wheeze when i breastfeed. Had him at the clinic and the sister says that the Lactogen is too rich for him. Is SMA a good milk. He is 7months old. He has these blisters on his hands as well, alot says it is teething blisters. It comes and goes.

To be honest I would not expect a difference between SMA and Lactogen. Maybe another trial of Lactogen, now that the winter has passed is the first step. Both these milks are good milks, but it is always best to continue breast feeding as long as you can, at least 6-9months if possible. I have never heard of teething blisters on the hands. It may be best to have these evaluated if they do re-occur.

My son is 7months old and suffers from eczema. He has it on his arms and legs. He scratches himself open. The sister at the clinic gave me Biocort and aqueos cream as well. I mix the emulsified ointment with the Biocort. Will this be an ongoing problem or will he outgrow it at a certain age. The blisters on his hands is red but not irritating him at all. What else can i get to rub on his hands to take the marks away. He is constipated as well. It is more than two weeks now. He does have a stool everyday but it is hard and dry. I give him the Purity prunes to eat. What do you suggest?
