Q.

Whats the norm

My nephew is 11 days, formula fed only (started on Nan but now on S26 Gold) since birth. Is it normal for him not to pass stools everyday? He normally misses a day but would be very crabby and cries on that particular day. He had a check-up on Tuesday (26/01) at Paediatrician who said that everything is fine. His birthweight was 2,46kg and now weighs 2,8kg. What is your opinion?

It is quite alright for your baby nephew to pass a stool only every second day as long as his stools are soft and normal.

Hi

What is the norm for a breast fed baby? Last stool passed was on Saturday.
