What milk formula after similac alimentum?

Hi there
My little boy is still not sleeping well, had a rough nite last night but we will surivive - i hope.

my question is this - he is allergic to dairy (proved again on a milk challenge with nan this weekend) and i want to know what formula i should give him once he is a year old? He is currently on similac alimentum, is not eating well at all and weighs only 9kg.

His milk is costing me R1500 - R1700 a month as he has an intolerance for soy and cant have a soy formula either.

Do you have any advise on what i can change him to, if anything?

You have got a big problem here especially as your son is still allergic to cow's milk and he is intolerant to soya. The only way through at this stage is for him to stay on the Similac Alimentum to 15 months. He should then be challenged again. If he is still positive to milk he will have to stay on Similac to 18 months and then challenge him again. At that stge let me know how he is progressing and I will advise you further.
