Q.

what could be wrong with my baby?

My baby is 1 year old. She used to be a good sleeper but lately things arent going so well. She wakes up at night screeming like she is in real pain. I give her Vidol powder before bed to possible teething pain and it worked for one night but now it doesnt seem to work. I find her sleeping on her stomach with her knees tucked under her stomach. Could she have stomach pain caused by to much acid. I have noticed pimples on her lip and on her arm, not alot, but they were there. I am realy at my last as i need the sleep.

The most likely cause is teething. She may be getting her molars now and this is always the cause of a lot of discomfort for children of this age. If you think this could be the cause try Pansoral gel on her gums at night and give her Panado infant drops at night. If there is no improvement then there is obviously another reason for her pain such as an ear infection or possibly a urinary tract infection and she will need to see her paediatrician.
