Recurrent convulsions or epilepsy has many different causes. Your doctor need to take a very careful history and do a few tests to eliminate the most common causes. It is important to prevent these recurrent convulsions and there is medicine that works well in most cases. If your doctor cannot help you, you may need to see a paediatrician.
