Q.

What can I give her?

Hi there

Could I ask you? My little girl (almost 5 months old) seems to have some phlegm on her chest. Any ideas what I could use / do to loosen this phlegm?

She is teething as well, so I''''m not sure if this can contribute? She doesn''''t have any other symptoms, and her nose is open. No cold and flu symptoms or fever either.

Any advise?

Thank you

It is possible that your baby's teething is contributing to her sounding a bit mucousy at present. She appears to be well and has no symptoms of any illness. Also her nose is nice and open. It would be best not to give her any medicines to loosen this mucous on her chest as most of these medicines are not recommended for young babies.
