Q.

Weight for breast fed baby

I couldnt get a booking at the breast feeding clinic so took baby to be weighed at Clicks pharmacy clinic, but thats all they do!! The sister just weighed him and told me the reading, she didnt say if it was okay or not.

Birth ~ 51cm, 3.59kg
10 Days ~ 3.61kg
5 Weeks ~ 4.38kg

Could you please tell me how he is doing and when I need to go back to (another) clinic.

Thanks in advance,
Shell

Your baby son is doing very well. His weight at birth was on the 50th percentile which is the average weight for infant boys. He is following this percentile line and remains on the 50th percentile.
