Q.

Watery discharge

My Little girl is 7yrs old. Yesterday she started have a strange watery discharge from her vagina. It at first had a slight brown tinge and now it is clear. She said it is not sore, nor itchy but it is uncomfortable because it is always wet. Should I take her to see the GP or a pead or a gynae. What could it be?

Paediatrician

She definitely needs to see a paediatrician first. This complaint could follow the recent use of antibiotics. Be prepared for the doctor to ask you about any possibility of her pushing an object into her vagina and also the constant worry these days of sexual abuse.
