Q.

Walking

My son is 15 months and is crawling strong. He also stands up / pulls himself up against the furniture...but he does not want to know anything about walking. Not even when we support him. What can we do to encourage him? He also does not want to speak..he will say a word once and then refuse to say it again. albeit a difficult word like monitor or keys. is this normal?

Your son is certainly getting ready to walk and should do so soon.He will learn to walk by himself although you can help him along a bit by holding his hands and helping him to take a few steps. His speech is normal for his age although he is using some complex words, no 'Mama and Dada' for him. He seems like he is a very smart baby.
