Hi doc
My 2 year 3 month child is also vegetarian. The school has mentioned that he has very low muscle tone. He does eat a variety of protein, carb and veggies however he is only 10kg and 80cm. What can I do to increase his weight and muscle tone. He eats an adult size portion of breakfast, a full lunch and supper. he also love fruit and snack during the day.
I am a bit concerned about his weight and muscle tone?
Please advice?

Low muscle tone is always difficult to be sure about. The experts in ths field are occupational therapists (OTs) and it would be worthwhile getting an opinion about his muscle tone from one of them.I am concerned about your son's height and weight which are far below the average for his age.You need to consult a dietician to work out a diet which will enable your son to grow and put on weight normally.
