vaccination info (doc pls reply)

I heard that the 18 mnth trimovax vaccinne has been linked to autism. Is this possible? I e-mailed sanofi pasteur and they say that its not, but all I ask is your opinion please.

Also, which vaccines are compulsory (by legislation) and which are not?

My baby is almost 15 months old and the last vaccinne he had was the 9 mnth measles vaccine.

There is no evidence to link the MMR vaccine with autism. Large studies have been conducted to scientifically study this question and the outcome is that the MMR vaccine is safe. The MMR vaccine is given at 15 months. At 18 months the next set of compulsory vaccines are given for Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, haemophilus B and polio. Your son should have had the Hepatitis A vaccine at 12 months and a booster is given at 18 months.
