Update on post 1600

ok so after 3 hours at Dr Kriel here is the latest

my daughter DOESN" T have an allergy to milk and eggs . She is sensitive to milk, egg, wheat and peanut but not allergic so she can have it - we will just test again in a year to check if its worse or if she outgrows.

Ok as for her constant fevers - the Dr reckons she might have an immune difficiancy. Thats why her fevers go up so badly as her body is trying to compensate for something happening to internally and thats the reason for the high fevers always. So they took lots and lots of bloods and testing for many different things and also checking her iron levels. (She is testing my daughters immune system on different levels i''m sure you will know the tests that Dr will be running)

The doc has ordered and sonar on her kidneys and bladder and xrays on her stomach and bowels to check for any blockages or swelling etc. The xrays had a 3 hour back up so we have made an appointment for MOnday at 11 to take her for that & mdash  and then we will have answers on the runny tummy too hopefully.

She has a bladder infection - the doc says its quiet bad so that can be the cause of the runny tummy too, but they are testing that too at the labs.

She has given an antibiotic to start so long.

I''m very impressed that she went and got the history on my daughters blood work so she could get the history before seeing us today.

I am finally confident in the pead we are seeing and confident that we will get answers. FINALLY

so thats the update. Will keep you posted as things develop.

Your opinion on all of this would be appreciated Doc

What is there left to say but to use your own words 'I am finally confident in the paed we are seeing'? Obviously now that you have a clear diagnosis for your daughter's problems the correct treatment will follow. Thanks for letting me know and please continue to do so.
