Update 1625

Hi Dr
I have been in contact with the dietician at Red X who assisted us when we were there last year. My lb has seen Dr Goddard last year as well before Prof Brown did his surgery.

The dietician came back with many questions for me which i have now answered and i am awaiting feedback from her. I think if she is concerned she will call in Dr Goddard as well or ask us to come and consult with her in CPT.

So at the moment we will just wait and see.

I offered my lb 13 different food options last night to try and see what he would accept and all he ate was 1/2 fling and a lick of peanut butter. It is very frustrating.

Anyway, just thought i would update you and let you know the plan of action at the moment.

Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback. I remain convinced that your son simply feels so full that he is completely disinterested in eating anything that is in the least bit filling.

Some further news Dr....

We (my paed, dietician here and me) will be meeting with the Red X dietician when she comes to PE at end of March to discuss way forward for my lb.

Until then we will be running a continuous feed pump for him at night, where i will feed him (depending on how well he has eaten during the day) app 1.6l similac through the feeding peg at night. I am free to try and get him to eat during the day and at night we can ensure that he gets all the nutrients that he needs through the peg.

I am feeling much better and less stressed about it.

Just thought i would update you.
