Q.

up and awake at night?

Hi there doc,

My little guy (just over 5 months now) until recently was going to bed at approx 6:30pm and then waking for 2 feeds (he is breast-fed and on 2 solid meals per day) at night. One at about 10/ 11pm and the other between 3-4 am. Usually at the 3 am feed he would have his feed and then fall back asleep until 6am. The last 3 nights he has woken at this time and been wide awake for an hour and a half.
He just babbles away and so I leave him in his cot and when I do so, 10 mins later he's fussing and calling out for me. I end up rocking him the whole time until he eventually falls asleep. Not sure if this is teething related, I've been using Vidol to help him but with no joy.
I'm not sure what I can do to help him sleep better?

It is difficult to be sure as to why your baby has changed his routine for the past 3 nights.Teething would be my No. 1 suspect. Try a little Pansoral gel on his gums after the late night feed and see if this makes a difference.
